I have a fairly large family. We needed to have a dish rack to put our large dishes in. Luckily we also have a dishwasher, but having a large family means that not all the dishes fit in one load! We had the dish rack on the counter for a while and that didn't work. The dish rack on the counter was cumbersome because it took up too much precious counter-space. Then we moved the dish rack into the larger side of my sink. That didn't work as well because we really needed to use both sides of the sink! So, that left me looking for where I could put my dish rack that I so desperately still needed but where i could still utilize! I devised a plan to hang it from the ceiling right above the sink so we would have easy access to it and it would drain easily into the sink. I went to Fred Myers and got a really neat decorative chains that hold 40 pounds and had my husband put it altogether. After simple seven minutes of labor we were up and running. Let me tell you this thing can get loaded with out being pulled out of the ceiling!
Check out my brilliant idea!
